I'm Jill Dalton, owner/operator of Hobe Sound Pet Sitter. I was born and raised in Washington, D.C. I have lived in California, Greece, Hawaii, Maryland and now Florida. As you can see, I've lived all over and have been fortunate enough to always have my pets. My brother and I always had a menagerie of pets. Everything from mice, hamsters, turtles, frogs, fish, birds, rabbits, ducks, baby chicks to horses. Our dogs and horses were always my favorites. Growing up, we had a Collie, Jock, and two German Shepherds, Mickey and Kim. Thru the years, I've had many different breeds of dogs and cats. My precious little Shih Tzu, Poogie, just passed over the Rainbow Bridge on May 6, 2020. She was almost 15. Heartbreaking and brutal for me to loose my little companion. In April of 2009, I adopted our handsome, Westie, Oliver, in 2009. He passed away 11/25/15. I am still heartbroken. He was 15. I am very grateful to live near my daughter and son and their families and my brother. Shussy, my daughter's Shih Tzu, was my one and only "granddog". She passed in December of 2019. I took care of her whenever needed. I miss her so much. I'm a Realtor in the state of Florida with Paradise Real Estate International, Inc. If anyone is interested in rentals, buying or selling property (commercial or residential), please contact me @ (561) 693-8886. I have done a lot of volunteer work for different organizations: Operation Homefront, The Food Bank, Habitat and many others. I have enjoyed doing Pet Therapy for senior citizens and mentally challenged children. All, are very gratifying experiences. I've cared for so many animals in the past, that I decided to start my own business, because of my deep love and passion for animals. I'm an animal welfare advocate. I respect, value, and believe in the humane treatment of animals and their inherent right to life. Can't wait to meet all my new furry friends! |
